Maple Cranberry Sauce

At Embark Maple, we love exploring new flavor profiles and creating unique recipes using our Embark Bourbon Barrel Aged Maple Syrup. Our latest creation is a delightful cranberry sauce that will add a burst of tangy sweetness to any Thanksgiving feast.
To make this delicious cranberry sauce, you will need the following ingredients:

  • 4 Cups Cranberries

  • 1 Cup Apple Cider

  • 1 Cup Balsamic Vinegar

  • 3 TBSP Lime Juice

  • 1 Cup B&E's Bourbon Barrel Aged Maple Syrup

To begin, gather your cranberries and give them a good rinse. In a medium-sized saucepan, combine the cranberries, apple cider, balsamic vinegar, lime juice, and our signature B&E's Bourbon Barrel Aged Maple Syrup.
Set the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a gentle boil. Once the cranberries start to burst and release their juices, reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer for about 10-15 minutes, or until it reaches your desired consistency.
Remember to stir occasionally to ensure that the sauce doesn't stick to the bottom of the pan. As the cranberries break down, the sauce will thicken and develop a rich, vibrant color.
Once the sauce has thickened to your liking, remove it from the heat and let it cool for a few minutes. Serve it hot or cold.
Our cranberry sauce is the perfect accompaniment to both traditional and unconventional Thanksgiving dishes. The tartness of the cranberries is beautifully balanced by the natural sweetness and subtle smoky notes of our Embark Bourbon Barrel Aged Maple Syrup.
So, whether you're drizzling it over roasted turkey, spreading it on a leftover turkey sandwich, or serving it alongside your favorite vegetarian main dish, our cranberry sauce will elevate your Thanksgiving meal to new heights of deliciousness.
