Salted Maple Pepitas
Get your skillet up to a nice medium heat. Add two cups of pepitas and stir until fragrant. And half a pouch of Salted Maple Embark and stir until pepitas don’t stick together. You can turn your pepitas into clusters if you take off the heat after about five minutes, and continue to stir for two minutes off heat.
To make these in the oven:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
In a bowl, mix , one 11 ounces of pepitas, and 3 oz of Embark Salted Maple, toss until everything is coated.
Spread out coated pepitas in a baking pan and put in the oven for 10 minutes.
Every three minutes, flip pepitas over so they evenly toast.
They will be soft and spongy when you take them out of the oven. Let them sit for ten more minutes to cool and dry. To turn them into pepitas chips, let them sit for 20 minutes until completely cooled and break them off into chips.
Put in your favorite snack pouch and enjoy on the trail!
