We started our maple farm as a means to protect & preserve the wild places we love to live, work & play. Harvesting maple syrup depends on coming out of cold winters for the sap to flow, and we’ve taken notice as our spring thaws have begun sooner and warm up faster, resulting in a shorter maple season. We’ve partnered with Climate Neutral to help quantify the impact of our farm & business operations, develop and implement an actionable plan for improvement & carbon offset, as well as track our accomplishments. Our forest is full of resilience, trees and plants overcoming the odds to stand tall and sustain the ecosystems they are a part of. We too are part of this system, and we too can do our part to grow a more sustainable future.

As a 1% for the planet member, at least 1% of all sales go to environmental organizations. Being part of this network allows us to support really amazing work being done both locally and globally.

For us, organic certification is more than just not adding chemicals to our land. It gives us tools and resources to better understand and improve our relationship with our forest, and broader ecosystem we are a part of.
