Rumble on the Ridge

This year the 24 Hour club was founded after 72 miles of Driftless climbing. What a very cool event, hosted by the very cool people of Driftless Enduranceright here in the Driftless Region of Wisconsin. We can’t wait to do more with them!

Arrowhead 135 Embark Oasis

Sap Run Scramble!
Come to the farm for a 5K adventure through the woods during syrup season, complete with maple-based snacks, sillyness, and a sugar house tour!

Lake Macbride Classic
The Lake Macbride Fat Tire Classic is a Fat Bike Event like no other. Presented by Sugar Bottom Bikes and The Solon Centennial Lions Club, the Race will take you around scenic Lake Macbride on twisty pea gravel, flowing singletrack, scenic beaches, blazing fast double track, hilly and steep snowmobile trails, challenging hiking trails, and scenic gravel roads. For those looking for a more casual experience, the 10 Mile Fat Fun Ride may be for you. Many of the trails in the Tace are not permitted for bikes EXCEPT on race day, so this is your only chance to ride them! The fast end of the 30 mile race has finished at around 2 hours with the back end of the race taking as long as 5 1/2 hours. As always, for 2024 we will have a new but equally challenging course for ya'll. Expect a lot of the same stuff you've seen in years past with some added surprises of course!


St. Croix 40 Winter Ultra
Foot, Ski, Bike… find out if you have what it takes in this short-course survivalist winter adventure.
The St. Croix 40 Winter Ultra is a winter survivalist race in the same spirit as the Arrowhead 135 and Tuscobia 160. Participants travel roughly 40 miles through St. Croix State Park on foot, ski, or fat bike, carrying all essential survival gear through a cold Minnesota night.

Triple D
The first thing you need to know about the race – it is a bit of a circus… but that is by design! As you traverse the scenic route by bike or by foot, you’ll receive little support. Whether you’re juggling water bottles as you skate down Heritage Trail, or balancing a tight-rope as you cross a thin bridge on the bike route, there is something for outdoor enthusiasts of all ability levels at the Triple D Winter Endurance Race!

Tuscobia Winter Ultra
Eric the Fox will be returning for his third year spreading Good Energy at the Tuscobia Winter Ultra.
The Tuscobia Winter Ultra is a human powered run, bike or ski event held on the Tuscobia and Wild Rivers State Trails in Northern Wisconsin, in the middle of winter.

Ramp Romp Ride 2023
A new spin on Ramfest, the Ramp Romp Ride is rolling out! Bike and forage for your supper through the beautiful hills of the Driftless region. Approximately 40 miles of riding through the Timber Coulee watershed with four stops to forage and learn about this unique ecosystem, rounded out by a wood-fired pizza made with the foods you have foraged! Sap Run Scramble 2023
If you'd like to run/hike/scramble through our woods during syrup season, you're in luck! We're hosting the second annual Sap Run Scramble at our farm on Saturday, March 18th. This is a slippery, muddy, non-competitve 5K with 1000 feet of elevation and tasty maple-based snack stops every kilometer or so. The trail treks through our maple forest during the heart of syrup season, a uniquely beautiful and fascinating time of year. Come out and play, taste tasty things and learn about the forest we call home. Bring a friend and stock up on Good Energy!

Small Business Saturday
Join us as we partner with The Historic Fortney in Viroqua, WI for a pop-up shop! On Saturday Nov. 26th come say hi to us from 11-4pm inside the Historic Fortney Lounge. We'll have maple samples, hot maple steamers, Embark and our Bourbon Barrel lines for purchase. Shop small, shop local!

Twinklefest Parade
The city of Viroqua is gearing up to celebrate the return of the annual Twinklefest Parade on Friday, November 25 at 6 pm. Traditionally held the Friday after Thanksgiving, Twinklefest is a dazzling parade featuring twinkling floats and entries of all types decked out in extravagant lights. The parade goes through the heart of downtown, and kicks off the holiday season.

Honeycrisp Hootenanny
There's a fox in the henhouse, folks. Ecker's Honeycrisp Hootenanny is October 15th and the music, food, and beer is going to make you shake your tail-feathers! pertNear 20
Join Bluedog Cycles for the pertNear 20, a mountain bike race that explores Vernon Trails' sustainably managed trail networks at Hubbard Hills, Rusty Ridge, and Sidie Hollow. This all day event includes a kids race, a pert near 10 mile race and the all encompassing pert near 20 mile race. Both short and long courses will feature a brand new, nearly 2 mile long descent on the Eastern mountain (previously undeveloped). We'll all be gathering and celebrating at the Sidie Hollow County Park Pavilion, where the VTAC NICA team will be feeding us with their chili cook off.

Iron Bull Red Granite Gravel Grinder

Kickapoo Valley Reserve DAM Challenge
The Kickapoo Reserve Dam Challenge Triathlon challenges participants to compete among the rugged hills of scenic southwestern Wisconsin's rural countryside and the Kickapoo Valley Reserve. Proceeds from this event benefit the Kickapoo Valley Reserve education program. Brandie will be on course with Embark Maple Energy for the racers. Heck of the North
2022 marks the 14th anniversary of The Heck of the North! This is the event that started it all on the North Shore.
